The seminar will include:
- Active Shooter Overview
- History of active shooters
- Pre-behavior Indicators
- What you do matters
- Situational Awareness – what it means and how to increase it
- Crisis Communication – what effective comms looks and sounds like in a crisis situation
- Tabletop Exercise – putting what has been presented into practice
Lunch will be provided.
A note on registration:
We appreciate your patience with our new registration system, and we understand it may not be the easiest to use.
The registration steps are as follows:
➡️You'll choose either Member or Nonmember pricing as well as the number of people for which you'll be registering. You'll then either choose that you are registering for yourself (+ guests if needed) or registering for someone else (should an admin be registering for you)
➡️ You will then submit your name and the name of your guests and email addresses for all who will be registering.
➡️The screen will then shift to a summary screen, which we understand is useless, but there is no way to bypass it. You must click on Complete Registration in order to get to the payment screen. It's going to look like this page is yelling at you. We're sorry about that, and again, can't bypass that language.
➡️ Once you click Complete Registration, a pop-up will yell at you again (sorry), and then you can finally submit your payment information!
